Parenting Programme
This course is for parents with children up to the age of 8 and is designed to help strengthen their parenting skills. It covers a range of parenting topics including establishing routines and dealing with behavioral issues.
Over the course of the 13 weeks you will learn how to:
· Build your child’s self-esteem
· Build a positive relationship between you and your child
· Avoid the criticism trap
· Praise and encourage your child
· Know the difference between bribes and rewards
· Support your child socially, emotionally and academically
· Teach your child about family responsibilities
· Give more effective direction
· Be consistent and follow through
· Use Time-Out correctly

Music & Movement
A relaxed, fun group suitable for toddlers and adults who love music. Help your child discover their inner music talent using a mixture of instruments, actions and own voice. We also learn about different sounds, textures, counting and repetition.
Parent & Child Group. Contribution of €2.00 per family.

Fun with Art
Get creative together as a family and enjoy a hands on art session each Thursday afternoon with your child. Engaging with creativity helps children to develop better coordination as well as visual and expressive learning skills. It also opens for them a world full of excitement, magic and imagination. All children from preschool age to 6 years are invited to come along with their parents and join this exciting group.
Parent & Child Group. Contribution of €2.00 per family.

Halloween Family Trip
Trip to Ladywrath Pumpkin Patch, Co. Meath. Enjoy pumpkin carving, face painting, bouncy castle and Halloween games. Cost €3 per person. Prebooking essential.

Our Child Counsellors & Play therapists work with children and families, to nurture change and development. They address issues around:
· Parental separation
· Bereavement /Loss
· Attachment
· Behavioural problems
· Trauma
· Anxiety
Family counselling tends to view change in terms of the interaction between family members and can help them by improving listening and communication skills through play and dialogue.
Child Counselling involves working with the child using creative methods such as art, drawing, sand tray, play and story making.
Agency and Self referrals are accepted. Payment by donation.
